My work is sparked by attraction and repulsion, illusions and disillusions. I manipulate, replicate, and simulate alternate versions of things: objects, images, and environments. My practice is a call to question the values and narratives inherent in the originals and to present personal truths. My process negotiates the physical properties, uses, and meanings of materials and technologies and has engaged the following topics of fascination: the frontier, desire, football, violence, tourism, and landscape. I work in wood, plastic, casting, Adobe suite, Maya, Unity, VR, painting, film, and food.
