Help Debbie Get There (HDGT) was designed to raise money for my mom, after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, with the goal of sending her to her dream destination of New Zealand. Individual paintings were commissioned of favorite places in the world, real or imagined, in exchange for donations. After 6 months of painting she was gifted $5000 on her 50th birthday.
